The Ninth - Tenth Day - Traveling to Asoug Mountain and on Ice Block Factory

Updated: Feb 19, 2019

In the second week in the Philippines, we were invited to visit Asoug Mountain.

In the ninth day in the Iriga, we went to Asoug Mountain. The President of University Saint Anthony invites us to visit Asoug Mountain. This mountain is an active mountain but does not emit lava, and on this day we are invited to visit the president's ice block factory.

But before we go to mount of Asoug, we are invited to visit the ice block factory first. This factory is one of the factories owned by the president of USANT. The production process of ice blocks begins with taking raw materials in the form of water with clean, odorless and colorless conditions, a pH of 7. Water is sucked from the artesian well and melted into the water tank as supplies and then flowed into the reservoir. The function of the reservoir in addition to being a place of inventory is also used as a medium for deposition of dirt carried by raw materials so that when it is processed the dirt is not processed. Precipitation is usually done for 2 days before it can finally be used.

Upon arrival, we have been served snacks of fried bananas and young coconut ice. It's not too much different from Indonesia, like fried bananas, in general, hahaha, but it's just that the banana is stabbed like satay and when we take one stab we have to eat it until it's finished.

The scenery on Mount Asoug is also very good, we can see people who live close to the mountain, and also many flowers that grow in bloom.
